Let's talk about chai...
Not only is it the unofficially-official drink of India, it's D-E-A-Licious! So much so, we named one of our socks after it. You see, chai isn't just about caffeinating - it's a way of life.
And just because we love you, we've sent you over how we make chai sky-high in the Himalayas. The processes on the good ol' internet may vary, but this is how we roll up in our village.
Makes 4 cups
In a pot:
Indian Chai is traditionally sweet.
Bring to a boil.
After it has boiled, lower it to a simmer. Add:
Return to a boil.
Watch it very closely. When it looks like it's about to over boil (and not a moment sooner!) remove from the heat. This is the secret of authentic chai.
Strain and serve.
